The Bar was packed with people, all waiting expectantly for the George Lake Big Band to start. I felt like I was in the middle of an old black and white movie, especially when the suave leader of the 19-piece band, donned his cool black hat and smoothly wished us all a warm Chick’n’Deli welcome. We sat over beer and wings, and soaked up an amazing show of sheer musical brilliance. I had the time of my life.

Event Details

THE music event in November is when the George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants combine to give you wonderful music from many decades. We have set the date this year as Saturday, October 25

We wanted to reach out to the people who attended Music to Remember 2024. This great event was held for the first time in the Trillium East Room at Le Tréport Wedding and Convention Centre, 1075 Queensway East in Mississauga. We received many compliments on this new location. You also told us how we can improve the experience. Music to Remember returns to Le Tréport on Saturday October 25, 2025 in the much larger Trillium Ballroom. People are excited and 96 tickets are already sold.

Doors will open at 5:00pm, the buffet will start at 5:30pm and the live music begins at 7:00pm. The George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants will alternate sets for your dancing and listening pleasure! Let’s look at the improvements for this year!

The Trillium Ballroom features:

11,500 square feet of space, compared to 4,600 square feet at last year’s event
Comfortably accommodates up to 650 people – we will restrict ticket sales to 360
Has a significantly bigger dance floor measuring 2,400 square feet, compared to 900 square feet at last year’s event

There will be a hot buffet of Grilled chicken with mushrooms, Pasta with Alfredo sauce, rice, vegetables plus salads and a vegetarian option of Eggplant Parmigiana. A selection of desserts will be placed on each table. Only 360 tickets will be sold to ensure ample dancing space and comfortable seating for everyone. Two bars will be set up and more employees will be working the room.

Tickets are $65 per person and we are offering YOU a discounted price of $60 until February 28. Reserve your seats now! Then pay for your tickets over the next month.

When reserving a full table, you can now choose between a table of 10 or a table of 8 and we will be asking for a larger table size for these groups. Feel free to e-transfer $60 x the number of tickets to steve.pettafor@gmail.com or mail a cheque payable to “Peter Toller” to Peter Toller, 92 Lakeshore Rd. E. Mississauga, ON L5G 4S2. We will then get the tickets out to you.
